McCormick County Clarks HillClarks Hill is located on the shores of J. Stom Thurmond Lake in McCormick County. It was named for Colonel Elijah Clarke, a Revolutionary War hero, who led South Carolina Patriot troops to victory in several battles that took place in the area.
