South Carolina Spartanburg County Central Pacolet Central Pacolet is located in the east central point of Spartanburg County just south of the Pacolet River. It began in the late 1800s as a distinct mill village around the Pacolet Manufacturing textile mill that flourished through the mid-20th century.
