South Carolina SC Calendar of Events SC Fairs South Carolina is home to 13 state and county fairs with many being the highlight of the fall season. The largest is the South Carolina State Fair, located in Columbia, but each autumn, there are also many excellent county fairs located around the state. (Two fairs – in Anderson and Simpsonville – are actually held in the spring.) Use our guide to find the location and dates for all of South Carolina's fairs – plus find links to each fair's website.
