Charleston, South Carolina Music Guide

SCIWAY's guide to Charleston music and musicians is divided into four sections. The first is devoted to Charleston's professional and recreational orchestras, symphonies, choirs, and quartets. In short, it covers classical music in Charleston. The second includes non-profits and other organizations that seek to encourage musical education and enjoyment. The third list compiles Charleston bands and singers who either play shows in clubs and concerts or produce CDs; these bands focus on rock, blues, bluegrass, country, etc. The fourth list spotlights wedding and party bands and is an excellent resource for Charleston-area parties, wedding ceremonies, festivals, and corporate functions.

Charleston SC Symphonies, Choirs & Classical Music

  • Chamber Music Charleston
    This Charleston non-profit is composed of musicians dedicated to giving chamber music concerts and educational performances in hopes of stimulating the audience, with a special focus upon children.
