Five Points Bars
Five Points is located in Downtown Columbia
at the intersection of two of the capital city's major streets – Harden and Devine. Just off the USC campus, it's a popular spot for college students. It offers unique, locally-owned shopping and a variety of restaurants
and bars, many with an eccentric vibe.
The Vista sits one block off Main Street, making it a quick jaunt across Assembly if you need a drink after visiting South Carolina's Statehouse
– which, knowing our government, you probably will. The Vista is popular with young professionals and features bars, restaurants, art galleries, specialty shops, the convention center, and several hotels – Hilton Hotel Columbia Center
and Hampton Inn Columbia Vista Area
Springhill Suites by Marriott Downtown Columbia
Other Downtown Columbia Bars
The area surrounding the Statehouse is downtown's commercial center with many corporate buildings, businesses, and state offices. The area is popular with visitors to South Carolina
's capital city.
Cayce and West Columbia Bars
- West Columbia
area is located just across the bridge from Downtown Columbia. This established working-class community is situated along Three Rivers Greenway
– known to locals as the Riverwalk – a beautiful walking, running, and bicycling path which follows the Congaree River. Perhaps the best part of having a drink (or two) in Cayce - West Columbia is that on the way home, you can stop by what is arguably the most famous Krispy Kreme in South Carolina. Look for the "Hot" sign in the window – doughnuts are made right there in the store, and you can watch them come off the assembly line.
