This stately library in Florence was built with funds granted to the Florence County Library System in 2003 by the Doctors Bruce and Lee Foundation. The foundation was formed in 1995 following the sale of the Carolinas Hospital System in order to “advance the general welfare and the quality of all life in the Florence, South Carolina area and the surrounding region by providing economic support to qualified programs and non-profit organizations.”

Great photos. For a “new building” it certainly has class. Florence should be extremely proud.
