These data are not comparable to place-of-work data published in other series. Total employment inlcudes workers involved in labor disputes, agricultural workers, & nonagricultural self-employed, unpaid family, and domestic workers.2/: Data includes South Carolina portion only. 3/: Aiken and Edgefield counties are part of the Augusta-Aiken, GA-SC MSA as of 1990 Census. 4/: York county is part of the Charlotte-Gastonia-Rock Hill, NC-SC MSA. 5/: Anderson and Cherokee counties added to the Greenville-Spartanburg MSA as of 1990 Census. 6/: New MSA as of 1990 Census. Myrtle Beach includes Horry county and Sumter MSA is Sumter county. Source: S.C.
