“This picture is the scene that my in-laws see every time they look out their back kitchen window in Kelton, a small community in Union County,” says Alana West of Newberry, who submitted the picture below.

Alana adds, “When you live in rural South Carolina, scenes like this one can be taken for granted. But there was just something about these green pastures and grazing cows that made me stop, take a deep breath, and thank God that I’m a country girl.”
