Brian Scott of Greenville took this picture of the Bates Masonic Lodge 189 in January 2009. It’s a Greek Revival style building, located at the intersection of Northeast Main and North B streets in Easley. The lodge was chartered on December 15, 1875.
The Masons have gathered in South Carolina since 1735.
