Leigh writes: “A junk car sits high in the air on sign posts at the crossroads of US 301 and US 176 in Orangeburg County, near the town of Elloree. Once an advertisement for a now-defunct auto repair shop, the car now serves as a landmark that offers direction and humor to travelers and locals.”
