Beautiful western Oconee County has stunning views of the grand Smokey Mountains. This picture was taken from the top of a hill off of Brasstown Road near Westminster.

Photographer Jerry Stafford took this picture in November 2010 while he was trekking through Oconee County chasing waterfalls. Brasstown Falls is a popular waterfall in Oconee, and there are many other lovely waterfalls sprinkled around our Upstate that are a must see.
