Issaqueena Falls bear the name of a Native American maiden who is said to have escaped capture by pretending to jump over the cliff, when she actually hid behind the water’s edge instead. (Learn more about legend of Issaqueena Falls.) This 100-foot waterfall is located in Oconee County‘s Stumphouse Tunnel Park.
