Allen Easler, who has a fantastic site about waterfalls in South Carolina, took this beautiful picture of Chau-Ram Falls. Allen says that they are one of his favorite waterfalls to visit in our state.

The unusual name is a combination of the Chauga River and Ramsey Creek – the two bodies of water that converge to form the waterfall. There is a suspension bridge nearby that takes you to Chau-Ram Park, where campgrounds and picnic areas are available for public use.

Allen says that Chau-Ram Falls is one of his favorite waterfalls because it is easy to reach and offers great views for a picnic.
