Lonesome Glory was one of the most accomplished American steeplechasers in racing history. Born in 1988, Lonesome Glory dominated the steeplechasing circuit in the 1990s, earning his owner, Kay Jeffords, over $1 million in race winnings. Retiring after the 1999 racing season, Lonesome Glory is now buried on the grounds of the National Steeplechase Museum in Camden.
