Michelin on Main opened in fall 2007 as Michelin North America‘s concept store. Moving its headquarters to Greenville in 1988, Michelin’s relationship with Upstate South Carolina dates back to the 1970s. In 1975, the first US-made radial tire rolled off the line at Michelin’s Greenville factory. Steven Faucette of Williamston took this shot of the “Michelin on Main” store in downtown Greenville.
