Rainbow Falls is part of the Middle Saluda River. It is 100 feet high and spills over a beautiful granite wall.
The Middle Saluda River winds through Jones Gap State Park, located about 30 miles north of Greenville and just a stone’s throw from Caesar’s Head State Park.
Although Rainbow Falls lies within Jones Gap Park, it is owned by Camp Greenville, and you need to ask permission to visit before you go.
Special thanks to Scott Beckwith of Greer, who took this photo in June 2005.
