Greer Depot – Greer, South Carolina
South Carolina | SC Picture Project | Greenville County Photos | Greer Depot
Piedmont & Northern Railroad built this depot in 1913 in downtown Greer. At one time Greer had multiple track lines for the Southern Railroad, the Greenville Railroad, and the Spartanburg & Asheville Railroad. The city also had three depots for a period of time, but the depot pictured here is the only one left and it now houses a number of businesses.

Greer Depot Add Info and More Photos
The purpose of the South Carolina Picture Project is to celebrate the beauty of the Palmetto State and create a permanent digital repository for our cultural landmarks and natural landscapes. We invite you to add additional pictures (paintings, photos, etc) of Greer Depot, and we also invite you to add info, history, stories, and travel tips. Together, we hope to build one of the best and most loved SC resources in the world!
