Not only can visitors eat just about anything pulled from the ocean, fried-up and served at one of the dozens of restaurants along Highway 17, they can also work it off with kayak and paddleboard rentals or even charter a fishing boat to catch their own seafood dinner. The Crazy Sister Marina avails itself to water-loving travelers and locals who take a day at the beach seriously for some serious fun.

Reflections on the Crazy Sister Marina

Contributor Treva Thomas Hamlin describes the scene while capturing the above photo: “This is the marina at the Murrell’s Inlet Marsh Walk at sunrise as the fisherman begin preparing the boats for the morning excursions and birds flock to find leftover bait and food from the night before.”
