The Old Hot Barn – Timmonsville, South Carolina
South Carolina | SC Picture Project | Florence County Photos | The Old Hot Barn
This picture of an old tobacco curing barn was photographed by Robert B. Davis in September 2006 near Timmonsville. Robert tell us that “this tobacco barn is a disappearing structure being replaced by movable metal buildings. Tobacco was once the main crop of the Pee Dee area, but is now being replaced by cotton. This is still a functioning barn and can be seen on Hill Road, near Timmonsville.”

This picture is beautiful. This old barn has a lot of character. It’s just a serene and peaceful sight. I love it.
