Latta Photos – Dillon County, South Carolina
South Carolina | SC Picture Project | Dillon County Photos | Latta Photos
Like Dillon, Latta was founded in 1888, when railroads were built all over South Carolina. It was named in honor of Robert J. Latta, who surveyed the right-of-way for the new railroad. Today, Latta is a delightful small town of around 1,500 in Dillon County, which borders North Carolina in the northeastern part of our state.
Learn more about Dillon County in the October 2008 issue of SCIWAY News.

Latta Photos Add Info and More Photos
The purpose of the South Carolina Picture Project is to celebrate the beauty of the Palmetto State and create a permanent digital repository for our cultural landmarks and natural landscapes. We invite you to add additional pictures (paintings, photos, etc) of Latta Photos, and we also invite you to add info, history, stories, and travel tips. Together, we hope to build one of the best and most loved SC resources in the world!
