The Riverfront Park in North Charleston includes a rotating collection of outdoor sculptures scattered throughout the grounds. They are all part of the National Outdoor Sculpture Competition and Exhibition, run by the City of North Charleston Cultural Arts Department.

The particular piece below – titled Basket in Open Space #4 – is a work of Chattanooga, Tennessee artist Jan Chenoweth. The Cooper River creates a stunning backdrop.
