In an effort to provide local residents with better access to waterfront areas, the City of North Charleston has partnered with the Noisette Company to create the Riverfront Park. Located on what was once the navy yard golf course, the park includes a military memorial, boardwalk, fishing pier, playground, dog park, and amphitheater. It also features works by several nationally-recognized sculptors.

As it offers wide vistas of the Cooper River and a respite from the industrial landscape surrounding it, the Riverfront Park is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon.

Riverfront Park – Add Info and More Photos

The purpose of the South Carolina Picture Project is to celebrate the beauty of the Palmetto State and create a permanent digital repository for our cultural landmarks and natural landscapes. We invite you to add additional pictures (paintings, photos, etc) of Riverfront Park, and we also invite you to add info, history, stories, and travel tips. Together, we hope to build one of the best and most loved SC resources in the world!
