Park Circle Photos – North Charleston, South Carolina
South Carolina | SC Picture Project | Charleston County Photos | Park Circle Photos
Park Circle is located in the historic center of North Charleston. As one of America’s first planned communities, Park Circle was laid out in 1912 with a focus on green spaces as well as commercial, residential, and industrial areas. When the Charleston Navy Yard took off during Word War II, the area saw a development boom. Today, Park Circle is enjoying a renaissance based on sustainable businesses, helping it move past its industrial legacy.
A few of the highlights of the Park Circle neighborhood include the Park Circle Disc Golf Course, the Olde North Charleston Picture House, EVO Pizzeria, North Charleston Elementary School, and COAST Brewing Company.
