The former Charleston Navy Yard, once a bustling off-limits military installation, is now part of Noisette’s vision for North Charleston. Called The Navy Yard at Noisette, the area’s former warehouses have seen new life as various businesses have moved into the area. While the shipyard itself has been taken over by Detyens, much of the rest of the base is being converted to mixed-use spaces.
