McClellanville Boat – Charleston, South Carolina

South Carolina  |  SC Picture Project  |  Charleston County Photos  |  McClellanville Boat

This photo of a fishing boat wrecked by Hurricane Hugo was taken by Ted Gore in October 2004. It was located near McClellanville, which was in the direct path of Hugo’s eye. Ted mentions that he took this photo just north of town, past the mariner. He says the boat has been moved since to make way for development.

McClellanville Boat – Add Info and More Photos

The purpose of the South Carolina Picture Project is to celebrate the beauty of the Palmetto State and create a permanent digital repository for our cultural landmarks and natural landscapes. We invite you to add additional pictures (paintings, photos, etc) of McClellanville Boat, and we also invite you to add info, history, stories, and travel tips. Together, we hope to build one of the best and most loved SC resources in the world!
