This evening scene shows Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge during SCIway’s road trip through Awendaw. The refuge was our final stop, and the sun cast a beautiful glow over Sewee Bay.

Cape Romain is a refuge for birds and endangered wildlife. There are four barrier islands and two historic lighthouses within its 67,267 acres. It is a great place to spend the day!
