The Sewee Outpost is a general store in Awendaw for hunters, fishers, campers, and travelers. Located approximately 10 miles outside of Mount Pleasant, the store is a great place to buy outdoor supplies or to grab a quick cup of coffee.
You can find about 100 different species of fish in SC National Forests, which provide pristine areas for kayaking, boating, or canoeing to get you to your favorite fishing hole. But please remember to purchase your valid South Carolina fishing license before you begin your trip.
There are over half a million acres of public land available to hunt on within South Carolina‘s parks as well. A wide variety of small and large game roams the area thanks to responsible wildlife management by park officials and SC Department of Natural Resources. Well-preserved swamps, rivers, bays, and sand forests, provide a unique and memorable hunting experience.
The Sewee Outpost offers boat storage and has a fueling station out front. They truly are the “launching pad to Bulls Bay and the Francis Marion National Forest” by making it easy to prepare for any outdoor excursion.
