Barry Gooch of Charleston took this photo of downtown Bamberg storefronts in March 2008.

Barry writes: “I was passing through Bamberg early one morning. I liked the colors and shadows of the early morning light on the old buildings downtown. Apparently, Bamberg is trying to revitalize the old downtown area. It’s hard to take a complimentary photo of this old town in decline, but I kind of liked the way this came out.”
