Sycamore Post Office – Sycamore, South Carolina
South Carolina | SC Picture Project | Allendale County Photos | Sycamore Post Office
The small town of Sycamore is located just west of Allendale, at the junction of US 321 and SC 641. The community is named after Sycamore Plantation, which was established here in the 1850s by William Ransome Barker.
SCIWAY thanks Nena Barnett of Simpsonville, who took this picture in the summer of 2010. Nena writes, “As we were traveling the back roads of South Carolina, we came across this cute little post office. It is in a rural neighborhood, and even though it looks like a doll house, it is a functioning post office.”
