Oconee County, South Carolina – Yellow Branch Cascade

Jason Furda of Pittsburgh took this closeup of the Yellow Branch Falls on a visit to upstate South Carolina in June 2004.
He writes: "This detail area of the falls is a favorite of mine. I love the many cascades that this falls contain. Water changes direction so many times on its path downward. The almost glowing green moss on the rocks contrast the red and black rocks quite well."
