This picture, familiar to many Clemson students, shows Tillman Hall. It was taken by Gene Borman of Seneca.

Tillman Hall is a most familiar landmark of Clemson University.
The building dates back to 1891 and was the place where desegregation of higher education in South Carolina occurred, with the enrollment of Harvey Gantt on January 28, 1963.
