This picture shows Table Rock Mountain on a beautiful summer day. It was taken by Libby Grizzle of Dahlonega, Georgia.
Libby describes taking this picture and her visit to Table Rock: "We were staying at the park at the time I took this picture. We were volunteer camp hosts from the 15th of May until the end of July. We enjoyed our stay there and the area is beautiful. We were taking a little ride in the park when we came to a pull-off, and that is when I took the picture.
"We enjoyed the area around Table Rock and Pickens very much. My great-great-great-great-grandfather lived in Pickens and is buried at Griffin Baptist Church on Pumpkintown Highway. We attended that church and also Oolenoy Baptist Church while we were there and enjoyed them both.
"We also enjoyed the bluegrass music in the area. They have bluegrass at the lodge in the park about once a month. South Carolina has a lot to offer."
