This picture of the Suber Corn Mill was taken by Steven Faucette of Williamston.
Suber's Corn Mill, located in Greer, has been owned and operated by the same family since 1908. The corn that is ground here is turned into cornmeal, grits, and animal feed and is sold locally.
Not much has changed at the Suber Mill since its doors opened. The buildings are original and the mill uses water power to grind the cornmeal. Then it is packaged and weighed by hand!
The Suber Corn Mill is open Monday through Friday from 8-5pm. You can call 843-877-5616 to schedule a visit.
