The Dogwood flowers herald the arrival of spring on Lake Keowee. This wonderful shot was taken by Gene Borman of Seneca in April 2007. For many South Carolinians, the welcome sight of the Flowering Dogwood (Cornus florida) is a sure sign that spring has arrived.
