This photo of the Liberty Bridge was taken by Mike Burton of Simpsonville in March of 2007. The bridge is located in Falls Park, which is in downtown Greenville.
Mike describes his photo: "We were walking downtown and came up on the Liberty Bridge. The lights gave it a warm and inviting glow. Falls Park is great during the day, but as you can see, at night it is a great place to visit and take the family."
The Liberty Bridge is 355-feet long and 12-feet wide. As the focal point of Falls Park, it gives the visitor great views of the falls below and the landscaped gardens throughout the park. Its architecture and engineering makes it unique in North America.
