Many birdwatchers attend the Hawk Watch program each fall at Caesar's Head State Park, where hundreds of migrating raptors like hawks, falcons, and eagles soar through the sky and begin their winter journeys.

There are primitive camping areas in the park, and trout fishing is allowed in designated areas along the scenic Middle Saluda River.
