Shea Nelson of Columbia took this scenic photo of our State Capitol in April 2008.
He writes: "I have always enjoyed visiting the State House to admire the beautiful architecture and the amazing landscape. On this particular day, I was enjoying a picnic with my family and noticed how perfectly this statue of the palmetto tree along with the background of the State House worked together in perfect harmony."
