The blacksmith shop at Historic Camden introduces visitors to the blacksmithing of the late 1700s. A central figure in any colonial town, the blacksmith was responsible for any metal work, from horseshoes to door hinges. To catch a blacksmith in action here, be sure to come by on Revolutionary War Days, a living history event held on the first weekend of November each year in Camden.
