The USS Yorktown (CV-10) is now permanently moored at the Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum in Mount Pleasant. She served in the Pacific during WWII, and provided support during the Vietnam War. The USS Yorktown was decommissioned in 1970 and arrived in Charleston in 1975.
