Jasper County, South Carolina – Tree Lane

Camella Black of Barnwell took this shot of an avenue of oaks somewhere in Jasper County in August 2008.

She writes: "There's a spot along SC 278 between Hampton and Bluffton that is lined with old oaks. Recently while needing a break in my drive home, I pulled over and wandered around several paths of these trees that seemed to lead to nowhere. Not only was it peaceful and beautiful but I felt a sense that time had stood still in this isolated place and that if I looked closely I would see the ghosts of another time walking down the lane.
