Mike writes, "Having heard about the sticks and twigs being shaped into a sculpture, over at Palmetto Bluff, I was surprised to find this life-sized hut made more from branches and vines, than simple twigs. Standing easily at 20 feet tall, among the trees, the weaving and intermingling of saplings was truly bending nature into art. There was a wedding reception on the lawn nearby, and you can bet that many photos were taken with the artwork. The artist, Patrick Dougherty's 'abstract sculptures are intended to respect nature and add to the natural surroundings.'"
