SC Coast, South Carolina – Eight Octopus Arms

An octopus has eight arms that can act independently of each other. Each arm is lined with suckers along its length that are very sensitive to touch. As such, even a blind octopus can tell what it is touching with its arms. Octopus have also shown reasoning skills that allow them to find their way through mazes and open jars.
