Amanda describes herself as merely a photography enthusiast, not a skilled photographer. She brought her family to McClellanville to use the picturesque downtown as a backdrop for a series of family pictures.
She says, "The nostalgia of the black and white picture is what excited me. It seems that time has stood still in that little village.
"I love to capture unplanned, genuine pictures whether they are of my children or of the fox squirrel who lives in the back yard. I love to share my images and hope people will enjoy them."
We have to disagree with Amanda's assessment of her photography skills. We love this picture and are thankful to her for sharing it with us!
