The day breaks over the Atlantic Ocean in this shot taken in Hilton Head by Jaime Keller of Greenville in September 2007.
Jaime writes: "Every morning during our trip to the beach my friends and I would get up early and walk along the shore. On our last morning there I finally remembered to take my camera on our walk. It was cloudy that morning as a storm front was making its way in, but the clouds broke to allow one of the most beautiful sunrises I have ever seen."
