Esther Fogle took this shot of the Harbor House in Georgetown in July 2008.
She writes: "My friends and I visited historic Georgetown this past July. This is a picture of the Harbor House, now a bed and breakfast inn, located on the Sampit River. One of the Georgetown ghost stories associated with this house speaks about the sea captain and his daughter who lived there. She was in love with another sea captain. Her father did not like nor approve of him. When she knew her sweetheart's ship was coming in to dock, she would place a lantern in the top window facing the dock to let him know her father was away and it was safe for them to be together. Tragically, his ship sank and he died. People say at night, you can still see the lantern in the window!"
