ACE Basin, South Carolina – Grove Plantation House
|
The Grove Plantation House serves as the headquarters for the US Fish and Wildlife Service's ACE Basin National Wildlife Refuge. It was built in 1828 and is one of three antebellum mansions that survived the Civil War in the ACE Basin area. The house is situated in a beautiful setting, with numerous live oaks and former rice fields.
