    Y-Guides & Trailblazers are programs that strengthen the bond between fathers and their children ages 5-15. Available at all Columbia area branches, members often enjoy father/child camping, hiking, and canoeing along with once a month gatherings.

  • Girls on the Run of Columbia
    A non-profit program for girls in the 3rd through 8th grade whose mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. The highly structured program includes a 24 lesson program that culminates with a 5K run.

  • Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission
    The Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission operates several parks providing a vast recreational program for youths, adults, and senior citizens. These programs include wellness activities including therapeutic recreation, theater and other cultural experiences, summer camps, after school programs, field trips, and senior activities including card games, line dancing, and yoga.
