Surfside Beach Hotels: A Local's Guide
Surfside Beach is a small beach community located between Myrtle Beach and Garden City Beach. Its quiet, family-friendly atmosphere has recently earned it the nickname "the Family Beach." Surfside is also just a short drive from Murrells Inlet and Pawleys Island.There are several oceanfront hotels on Surfside Beach, but the majority of Surfside Beach hotels are located along US 17. These hotels are cheaper and are still just minutes from the beach. Surfside Beach is home to many great restaurants and several of the Grand Strand's largest attractions, including Wild Water & Wheels waterpark and Hudson's Surfside Flea Market.
The focal point of Surfside Beach is the Surfside Pier, a favorite among locals and tourists alike. The pier offers amazing views of the Atlantic and is a great place to take an evening stroll.
