Ladson Hotels: A Local's Guide
Ladson is located in South Carolina's Lowcountry, just west of I-26 between North Charleston and Summerville. This small town is just 20 miles northwest of Charleston and is home to the Exchange Park, a multipurpose entertainment complex that hosts numerous events throughout the year.The park features gardens, stages for live music, several exhibit buildings, and a fine arts complex. Each fall, the Exchange Park hosts the annual Coastal Carolina Fair, which features live entertainment, amuseument rides, competitions, and nightly fireworks. Don't forget to try the funnel cake!
If you're visiting Ladson over the weekend, make sure to check out the Coastal Carolina Flea Market. One of the largest flea markets on the east coast, this shopaholic's dream spans 47 acres across the Exchange Park and boasts over 1,000 different booths. You can find everything from antiques to local produce and sweetgrass baskets – there's even a few restaurants if you need to refuel!
