1. We're Local

Everyone on our team lives in South Carolina – even our telephone agents. We always give you the full scoop, so look for our "Insider Tips" to help you plan the best trip. And if by some chance you have a question we don't know the answer to, we'll find it for you!

2. No Fees

We don't charge a booking fee when you make a reservation, and we also don't charge a fee when you cancel one. This is very unusual – most other companies do.

Please read the hotels' cancellation policies before you book, because sometimes those guys have their own penalties. We always show them in bold red type so you can find them easily.

3. Lowest Rate Guarantee

If you find a lower rate for the same room at the same hotel within 24 hours, we'll pay you the difference plus $10.

We need to be able to verify the lower rate by visiting the competing website. It has to be for the same dates, the same room type, and the same rate type – AAA, corporate, government, etc.

The reason for the 24-hour limit is that hotel rates change daily. Sometimes they go up, sometimes they go down.

If the other website charges a booking fee, please add it to their rate. We don't charge booking fees. If their rate is still lower, just send the following info to service@sciway.net:
  • Address of the other website
  • Their comparable nightly rate
  • Confirmation number for your SCIWAY reservation
When we receive your message, we will confirm the rate and send you a check quickly.

4. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your hotel, we will compensate you in a way you consider fair. Simply send an email to service@sciway.net and tell us what happened. Please include your SCIWAY confirmation number.

The only exceptions are hotels we rate as low or very low. As with cancellation and refund policies, we note these warnings in red type so you can see them easily.

Compensation limit. Our guarantee is limited to the cost of your hotel room (including taxes but excluding optional extras). For example, if you pay $100, the most we will compensate you is $100.

5. Don't Pay Until You Stay

90% of our reservations do not require an advance payment of any sort, so your credit card is usually not charged at the time you make a reservation. That means you get to keep your money longer!

6. Cash Rewards

When you make 5 reservations through SCIWAY, we will send you a check for $25.

Everyone is eligible for this program. Whether you are making reservations for yourself, your business, or your organization, this is an easy way to earn extra money.

Here's how it works:
  1. When you make hotel reservations through SCIWAY, save your confirmation numbers.

  2. When you have 5 confirmation numbers, email them to service@sciway.net, and we will send you a check for $25. Be sure to include your name and address.

  3. This program is an extra benefit. It will not affect your hotel chain frequent guest points in any way.

  4. Send confirmation numbers anytime after travel has been completed. These rewards do not expire.

  5. Only one person can claim a reward for a given confirmation number.

  6. Canceled and "no show" reservations are not eligible for rewards.

  7. Reservations for 10 or more rooms made through our group reservations service are not eligible, as this service has its own incentives.
